Living to the fullest

I hope everyone has been having a great weekend. I've been doing some reflecting and feel very free. Free from the past and looking forward to the future while acknowledging the present moment. Sometimes we can get stuck in a rut and feel powerless to the past. It's totally okay because we don't have to live that way. We must utilize our minds and take control of our lives. Feels good to be back

Time flies when you're having fun. It feels great to be back at work after a nice few days off. Now it's time to focus for the concert coming up on August 2nd. It's going to be very fun and exciting. I will give people the opportunity to see how I like to perform and put on a great show. Preparation is crucial. 4th of July

Well its Independence Day and the month of July is in full force. I love it because it means it's my birthday month. I'm getting older and wiser as everyone else is. You know something about getting older just excites me. I've done everything I possibly could in my 20's. Now that I'm in my 30's, I'm more grounded and family oriented. I'm very blessed to have the people in my life who understand and respect my passion for music. My lifestyle can be very demanding at times and I'm just glad I have the support I do to make it all happen. Wouldn't want it any other way. Happy 4th of July everyone! Be safe.

Well we all gotta keep moving forward to pursue destiny. We're all on the path to enlightenment one day at a time were one step closer. Decompress every moment possible. The adventure

I told my aunt this last weekend I was going to cut my hair and donate it to locks for life. Well we cut it and it will grow back, I'm not worried about it. I am headed on an amazing adventure today to meet 5x grammy award winning producer Kenny O'Brien. It's going to be a long trip and I have to be at work early tomorrow, but it's so worth it. The holiday weekend is finally over and things are back to normal in Ojai. It's pretty cool out here in this beautiful and amazing valley. As soon as I begin writing, I have no idea how my blog is going to come out. I just let it flow. It's the same kinda style I write my music. There is no way to pre plan anything. It's just whatever the higher powers at be guide me. I'm very grateful to have this ability. I always was a good writer. While in school at University of California Irvine I had this professor who was very critical of me. I swear I wrote my 20 page research paper 5 times. I enjoy working on the weekend because it's always busy at the hotel. Makes my work days just fly by. I got one more evening of work tonight and I'm off for the next 3 days. Experience pays off

I cannot believe the confidence and momentum going on in my life. The energy is so cosmic that it shows. It feels great to be committed to my music career  with undivided attention. I haven't felt like this since I did my first song in a major recording studio back in 2009. "High Tide,"  if you all remember that song, it landed me a record deal. That was an incredible feeling that lasted 2 weeks before I slipped into darkness. But there is no need to think about the past, because this is right now and life is an amazing adventure. Back to business

Well it sure feels good to be back at work. Gotta keep doing it so the music won't stop. I've been feeling very blessed lately with all that has come about from my music. Inspiration

Back in November I had the opportunity to be apart of career day at Rio Del Valle Middle School. I was asked to come speak to the kids. Well I spoke a little bit but these kids wanted to hear guitar more than they wanted to hear me talk. So I played for 6 different groups of about 30 kids and I played 3-4 songs for each group. It was a very fun day. Seeing these kids faces light up was such a great feeling. It feels good when I can give back to the community that shaped my life. I'll never forget my roots. The best part about career day happened last week. I received an envelope in the mail filled with letters from the kids. The impact I had on these children was unreal. It makes the music so much more important to everyone. Not just me. The music never stops with me because that's what I do and I love. Thank you all so much for being apart of my life's journey. I am an ordinary human being. No one is perfect and neither am I. We all have are flaws. I apologize for being so distant but I was going through some struggles of my own.
